Red Lobster Shrimp Pasta

1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
1 lb. shrimp, peeled, divined, & tails removed
3 garlic cloves
2/3 c. clam juice or chicken broth
1/3 c. white wine
1 c. heavy cream
1/2 c. parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp dried basil & oregano
8 oz pasta, cooked & drained (I use linguine)

Heat oil in lg. skillet. Add garlic, reduce to low. Simmer until garlic is tender. Add shrimp and cook over med heat until opaque. Remove, reserve liquid in pan. Add clam juice and bring to boil. Add wine, cook over med heat for 3 min. Stirring constantly. Reduce to low, add cream, still stirring constantly. Add cheese, stir til smooth. Cook until thickened. Add shrimp back to sauce, heat thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients except pasta. Put pasta in lg. bowl and pour sauce over pasta. Toss to coat.
