Garlic Basil Mayo

I've made this twice. The second time it didn't turn out. I'm not sure if I didn't mix it long enough or what happened. I did reduce the vinegar by half the second time, but that shouldn't have messed it up.

1 room temp egg
2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1 small clove garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dried basil
heaping 1 c. olive oil

Add everything except oil to food processor. Blend for a min or so and SLOWLY add oil. Blend til oil is incorporated and mayo texture is achieved.

*I have never added basil. I liked this but felt the vinegar in it was a bit strong. I did reduce it the second time but I can't say if it did or didn't work since it didn't mix well the second time.
