Baja Chicken Salad w/ Taco Vinaigrette

1 pkg taco seasoning
1/2 c. oil
4 chicken breasts, chunked
1 pkg. salad greens
1/2 c. sliced red onion
1/3 c. sour cream
3 Tbsp olives
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 Tbsp oil
1 c. grape tomatoes, halved
2/3 c. shredded cheese
1 avocado, peeled & sliced
tortilla chips

In med. bowl, combine taco seasoning, brown sugar, 1/2 c. oil, and vinegar, mix well. Place chicken in shallow med. bowl. Pour 1/2 c. seasoning mixture over chicken. Reserve remaining mix for dressing. Heat 1-2 Tbsp oil until hot. With slotted spoon, remove chicken from seasoning mix, discard remaining mix. Add chicken to skillet, cook til done. In lg. bowl combine salad, tomatoes, and onion. Add reserved seasoning mix, toss to coat. Arrange salad mix on plate. Top with chicken, cheese, sour cream, avocado, and olives. Arrange chips around salad.
