1/4 lb. bacon
2 med. onions, minced
2 cans clams (reserve juice)
3 lg. potatoes
1 stalk celery, diced
2 c. milk
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 c. heavy cream
4 Tbsp flour
Fry bacon and onions til brown. Add flour and stir til mixed. Use reserved clam juice and water to make 3 c. & slowly add to bacon and onion. Add potatoes, celery, salt, and pepper. Cover and cook til potatoes are done. When done smash potatoes some to thicken soup and add milk and cream. Heat through.
