Corn Bread

From: Carey Stoker

1 c. corn meal
1 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/4 c. sugar

Beat together 1/3 c. vegetable oil, 1 c. milk, 1 egg.

Mix dry ingredients well. Create a well in the middle and add beaten ingredients and mix until all is just moistened. Pour into 8 x 8 lightly greased baking pan. Bake at 400 for 25 min or until knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
