5 cloves garlic
1 tsp salt
2 c. tightly packed fresh basil
2 Tbsp pinenuts or walnuts
1/2 c. olive oil
Put all ingredients in food processor and pulse until desired consistency.
*I didn't have quite enough basil but it still turned out great. Mine was a little salty but I think it might have been because I didn't have enough basil. Also, I did half pinenuts and half walnuts. I had the pinenuts laying around from something else and I didn't want to pay $19.98 a lb. for more pinenuts. So I mixed and it was just fine.
