Fresh Peach Pie and Crust

Approx. 4 lg. peaches
1 1/2 c. water
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp karo syrup
3 Tbsp & 2 tsp cornstarch
4 Tbsp peach jello mix
1 c. flour
3 1/2 Tbsp powdered sugar
1 cube butter, softened

Boil water, sugar, karo, and cornstarch together 6 min. stirring constantly. Add peaches. Set aside. In separate bowl combine flour, powdered sugar, and butter. Mix and press into a pie plate. Bake at 350 for 20 min. Cool. Add peach pie filling and chill. Serve with whipped cream.
*Add extra peaches- it makes enough for 2 pie fillings. Can make double crust on cookie sheet.
