1 c. heavy cream
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 head garlic, chopped (yes it really says 1/2)
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4-1/3 c. crumbled blue cheese
1/4-1/3 c. parmesan cheese
salt & pepper to taste
1/2 lb. pasta (I've done bowtie and penne)
While the pasta is cooking, melt butter in sauce pan over med-low heat. Add onion and garlic and saute about 5 min. Pour heavy cream in and heat through. Wisk in blue cheese and parmesan cheese. Salt & pepper to taste. Sauce will thicken a bit upon standing. Toss with cooked pasta.
Serve with Pecan Chicken w/ Blue Cheese Sauce
